Pretty Little Feet has just finished writing and recording music for the soon-to-be-released local documentary about the 1911-1913 Mount Baker Marathon. The documentary is titled, "The Mountain Runners." We will be releasing a new full-length album to showcase the songs and tunes. Release date is set for 24 May 2012 at the Pickford Cinema in downtown Bellingham. Monday 21 May, from 8:00-10:30pm, we will be playing at the Honeymoon Meadery in downtown Bellingham. The Honeymoon knows how to craft hard cider better than any local establishment we know. They have become the best local source for crafted meads, wines, and ciders. They host local musicians just about every night of the week. Come welcome the start of the work week with Pretty Little Feet at the Honeymoon. This Thursday 24 May, we will be playing for The Mountain Runners post-showing film-premiere celebration at the The Pickford Cinema in downtown Bellingham. We wrote and recorded the music for the film, and we will be releasing a full-length CD on this day as well. Unfortunately for all of those who wish to attend this event, but do not yet have tickets, we are sorry to say, that it is sold out. However, the film will be playing all next week at Pickford's Limelight Cinema on Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham. For more information on the film, or purchasing tickets, check at: Pickford's Mountain Runners listing. This Saturday 26 May, we will be playing at the Anacortes Farmer's Market between the hours of 10am and noon. Later that day, from 8:35 to 9:10pm, we will be playing down at Seattle's Folklife Festival, located at the Seattle Center. You know the place. Just head toward the Space Needle and you can't miss it. The Northwest Folklife Festival is a one of a kind event, focusing on people's cultures from all walks of life on earth, and each year tries to bring focus to any particular folk culture. It is a yearly event that can be appreciated by everyone. The Festival has no forced charge for entry, and therefore it is an all-volunteer event, though donations are strongly encouraged. We've played a lot of really fun shows lately, thanks to those who have hosted us: County Cork, Bipartisan Cafe, Tin Shed, and Mississippi Pizza in Portland, Conor Byrne in Seattle, Honeymoon Meadery/Winery/Cider Bar, The Red Light, Old Town Cafe, Boundary Bay Brewery, Mount Bakery, Sustainable Connections, The Swan Cafe and Food Co-op, in Bellingham, and Anderson's General Store on Guemes Island. And thanks to all those who have come and paid us compliment. We have such fun playing our music. With love and music,
