Pretty Little Feet

We are an acoustic duo from Bellingham, WA, with over twenty years of performing experience. We play acoustic originals and public domain/traditional songs and tunes. Our sound consists of configurations of mandolin, fiddle, guitar, banjo, and vocal harmonies.

Pretty Little Feet plays old-time song and tune, a wide-ranging repertoire of selections from the traditional canon and artists from the bygone days of radio up to the present, as well as their own originals. Between the two of them, Matt and Allegra have released six full-length albums and have been included on three compilation albums, two by major record labels Righteous Babe Records and Shut Eye Records. Their album The Mountain Runners is comprised of mostly original music and it is featured as soundtrack in the documentary film The Mountain Runners, which chronicles the incredible true story of the 1911-13 Mount Baker Marathon, America's first mountain endurance race.

Pretty Little Feet was born out of a musical friendship dating back over twenty years between Matt Novak and Allegra Ziffle, when they met in Bellingham and started playing music together. In March 2003 they founded Quickdraw String Band and started performing together on a regular basis. In February of 2009 Matt and Allegra formed the duo Pretty Little Feet. PLF and Quickdraw are still performing regularly throughout the Pacific Northwest.
